This is a levitation illusion with a performer seated on a magical flying carpet. The carpet goes up and down with smooth movements near 8 feet high and down to about 12 inches off the ground, as well as across stage, anywhere from 8 feet to 24 feet or even more. Even to the footlights if you want. The performer could also fly with a child. Can be performed with or without a custom black wall with LED lighting if a black curtain venue is not available (separately available for purchase).
The flying carpet itself is 42 inches wide and 56 inches long with tassels. There are handles for the performer (and child). The carpet is trimmed in a yellow glow system to help the effect. Also, a LED strip helps light up the performers faces as they fly.
The carpet is resting on a 48 x54 inch sand mound, about 14 inches tall. It starts and finishes on this mound. It looks somewhat realistic with a few weeds, rocks, gem stones and a real sandy texture. The gem stones on the sand mount also lights up.
Optional back wall:
This is required for rooms where a portable black background setup is needed, or if a stage does not have a black curtain. This video below shows a flying effect of about 16 feet side to side, but the entire wall is 24 feet. Estimated height is up to 6 feet high. There are about 10 white 12-volt DC spotlights and 10 colored ones on the black back wall to help the illusion.
A gold genie lamp with fog effect can be added for $750.00. It comes with small fog machine mounted in the sand mound and you just place the lamp over prepared spot to smoke. You do have the ability to have a performer appear using this effect. But a larger machine is needed for the appearance. You can supply your own, too.
Free flying magic carpet can be built to fly without tracks starting at $12,500.00 USD. This will allow you to fly all around stage even out to the edge of the stage. See our Trip to the Moon video for a feeling of flying movement on stage without the portable wall addition.
