Mike Michaels' latest surrounded motorcycle appearance - 3 years in the making.
His original motorcycle appearance is widely known on TV shows. The original appearance has a large framework where a motorcycle and a rider appear in near 5 to 6 seconds surrounded.
Mike is now created a new motorcycle appearance that can also be done surrounded but does not have the large framework around it. The motorcycle actually appears much larger and wider than the platform that it's mounted on. This platform has a 12 volt bright and dim lighting system to help the illusion but does not need a black background. Also it has built-in air system that helps the performer get the right parts in the right place quickly without any heavy lifting.
SHADOW APPEARANCE:
This motorcycle production can be performed as a shadow appearance with a 16 feet wide white cloth pulled across the front or the illusion and a projection of the motorcycle assembling itself. (We will or can provide different projection ideas.) There is a large chrome spotlight in the back to show the shadow of the bike appearring. It does not come with the projector, but you don't have to have the projector for this illusion. Just lift the front cloth and make the bike and rider appear if you want.
SURROUNDED:
You can perform it like a Sub Trunk. Your assistants have two lift handles and insert them into the preset sourounded cloth framework. This allows them to get near a height of 7 to 8 feet tall when lifting it up. Have them lift the cloth up a little bit then shake it then lift all the way up and drop it to make the motorcycle appear in approximately 6 to 7 seconds or the motorcycle with the rider estmated in 7 to 10 seconds. This cloth has a two functions: it expands wide and separates after the bike appears, so each assistant runs off with the cloth on each side, leaving the prop clean on the stage. It's up to your rehearsal/practice how fast you and the bike can appear. I am giving you the tools to be able to create this new 8' 6" long custom motorcycle to appear on a raised platform surrounded, lit from a spotlight from behind. After the appearance, the platform is left with only 8” thick. This also travels in one case where the bike is resting in its preset position, so the case price and shipping is near half the price of the other motorcycle production. For performing it sourounded, there is an additional curtain charge for a two person frame work and cable center release, so the assistants can have it split at the appearance moment (have them wait a bit to exit with the two covers for your applause point).
